We are known for our wonderful collection of dress fabrics and have successfully run our family owned fabric and haberdashery business at Indooroopilly Shopping Center in Brisbane since 1979.

Our positive work ethic of putting the customer and her needs first, and trading in the best quality fabric and trimmings in Brisbane has been the solid grounding for the business.
Since that time, we have seen huge changes in the sewing industry, but none bigger than shopping on the internet. It has opened our shop to a whole new customer base the world over.

Due to more discerning customers who don’t want badly fitting and cheap ready to wear garments, we are now importing much of our own stock such as the beautiful diamante zippers, buckles and buttons seen in the trims section, so they can complete their garments with an individual finish.

Revamping old clothes by adding braids laces and ribbons is a fashionable new trend, as well as using small pieces of beaded silk and tulles to sparkle your T shirts, shoes, handbags and lapels etc.

Stocking over 100 different colours of dupion silk, along with linens cottons satins polyesters and chiffon, should guarantee you’re not disappointed with your search.

We even stock a beautiful range of indigenous prints in our craft cottons, a great idea for Australiana souvenirs. With the recent revived  popularity of horse racing events we have introduced hats and fascinators along with other millinery products like feathers and sinamay and veiling so the customer can complete her unique outfit for that special occasion.
